IT Trainee Specialist

The IT Trainee Specialist is a key position in our organisation, offering a unique opportunity to develop skills in troubleshooting, system setup, network management, and IT project assistance. You will provide hands-on support across various IT functions, focusing on delivering first-level technical support, assisting with IT asset management, and contributing to the maintenance and administration of IT systems.
As part of our dedicated IT team, you will work closely with colleagues to gain experience in operational and strategic aspects of IT service delivery. This role requires strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff and collaborate effectively with team members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues
- Assist in managing IT assets, including hardware and software inventory
- Contribute to the maintenance and administration of IT systems
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and improve IT services
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Year 12 High School Certificate or equivalent
- A current unencumbered NSW Driver's Licence
- A foundational understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, and basic networking concepts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and capacity to work under pressure
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
- Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
