Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Desktop Support Officer to join our APG Head Office team in Virginia, QLD. This role is responsible for providing exceptional support across the APG team, ensuring seamless IT operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Log, monitor, and resolve support requests from end-users in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide desktop support to staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage the onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new and departing employees.
  • Support remote workers by troubleshooting VPN, connectivity, and other technical issues.
  • Maintain documentation of IT systems, procedures, and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Maintain and manage all IT assets and their records, ensuring accurate inventory and compliance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Experience working in an IT Support role with multiple disciplines, including desktop support, network administration, and asset management.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, ensuring timely resolution of support requests.
  • Skilled in the use of Jira for IT Service Management, with experience in Active Directory, Windows 11, and M365 service management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
