Job Overview
The Internal Audit Assurance Manager role involves overseeing the outsourced internal audit provider, ensuring timely delivery of the internal audit program. This includes coordinating and managing the annual audit in conjunction with an external auditor, maintaining the group audit issues register, verifying closure of open audit issues, and preparing status update reporting for management committees, and the Board.
Key Requirements
Essential experience in internal and/or external audit or control assurance is necessary, along with knowledge of AFSL, RE, and RSE licenses. The successful candidate will be able to understand complex issues, documents, and their implications for the organization, demonstrating strong analytical skills. Tertiary qualifications in business with sound financial literacy and postgraduate certifications in risk, accounting, finance, or audit are highly regarded.
