
Global Technology Readiness Expert

This role oversees the readiness of global technology for lead international operated markets, ensuring the quality of deliverables and validating their adoption and scaling across markets.
You will interact with local technology teams to identify prerequisites, roadmaps, and standards. Aligning with segment delivery planning managers and markets on a roadmap to prepare markets for the future.
Manage strategic technology vendor service teams to support market adoption of new technology and standards. Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to service teams overseeing restaurant technology solutions, improving business adoption and solution standardisation.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand the global engineering team's roadmap and assess requirements, impact for technology in our segment.
- Represent our market to guarantee current and future development are adequate to our segment estate or define the roadmap for our markets for their readiness.
- Act as liaison and bridging / facilitation communication and understanding between the segment, our strategic vendors and global engineering / development.
- Evaluate change objectives and new initiatives to ensure that customer demands are met, and value is realised as expected.
- Provide quality assurance and production support as part of planned deployments to ensure maximum business value realisation.
- Build strong relationships, trust, rapport and empathy across markets vendors and global teams.
- Ensure vendor strategies are communicated effectively internally and externally, and feedback is accurately captured and shared between the segment and the vendor.
- Share best practices across markets ensuring we are identifying and implementing best practices and standards.
- Review and validate market plans to ensure deliverables, pre-requisites, requirements, and quality will match the expected timelines.
- Establish dashboards to monitor the readiness of solutions, the quality of deliverables, to measure the standardisation across the segment.
- With the Delivery Planning Manager, you will support Engineering teams to prioritise activities for development resources and identify common issues to be spanned to all markets.
- Manage recruitment; team organisation; motivation and recognition; internal processes and procedures; talent management and succession planning.
- Ensure all internal staff have personal development plans; coaching; usage of appropriate training courses; building of a strong team with an adaptable and varied skill base.
- Setting and communication team goals and OKRs; ensure all staff have business objectives which are regularly reviewed; monitoring progress to ensure all aspects of work are effectively led;
