About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Field Service Technician to join our high-performance team at Berendsen Fluid Power Pty Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing breakdown and diagnostics support on hydraulic systems and equipment used in fixed plant and mobile equipment.

Your Responsibilities

  • Attend site and conduct initial diagnosis and assessment of hydraulic systems and equipment
  • Determine the necessary action to get the machine operational and initiate corrective action, which may involve repair or replacement
  • Undertake site installations and commissioning of new systems
  • Provide routine preventative maintenance services on existing hydraulic equipment
  • Perform allocated work within the workshop, including cylinder rebuilds, pump and motor repairs, and testing
  • Perform work safely and comply with WHS procedures

About You

  • Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., Diesel, Auto, Mechanical, or Hydraulic Fitter)
  • Hydraulic Field Service experience with the ability to prepare clear and concise service reports
  • Hydraulic overhaul and diagnostics experience and the ability to interpret hydraulic circuits (desirable)
  • Flexibility to work overtime and on weekend call-out rosters when required
  • Valid Driver's Licence and demonstrated safety-first mindset
  • A desire to grow and develop a long-standing career within the Berendsen Fluid Power business
