Freelance Frontend Expert
Job Overview

The Freelance Frontend Expert opportunity ranges from leading project implementations, mentoring junior staff, translating UX designed wireframes to production level HTML/CSS/JS, integrating third-party APIs and platforms as well as working on a mixture of projects for a range of clients.


Responsibilities
  • Lead project implementations by developing a strategic approach and overseeing the execution process.
  • Mentor junior staff members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  • Translate UX designed wireframes into production level HTML/CSS/JS code using best practices and tools.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and platforms into existing systems to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Work on a variety of projects for diverse clients, requiring adaptability and creativity.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated development experience with TypeScript or React, or experience with Firebase and Google Cloud Functions is required.
  • Strong understanding of SEO compliant mark-up and best practices is highly desirable.
  • A strong understanding of Accessibility standards is also highly desirable.

Skills
  • Git mastery is essential for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines is necessary for efficient deployment and testing.
  • Understanding of task runners and bundlers (e.g. Grunt, Gulp, Webpack) is required for efficient build and deployment processes.
  • Familiarity with developing in a Windows environment is beneficial.
  • Experience with Docker is highly desirable for containerization and orchestration.
