About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner Dentist to join our team at SA Dental. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will provide high-level dental services to eligible clients with complex dental and oral health issues.

In this role, you will contribute to the implementation of clinical programs and objectives within your district, ensuring alignment with the Statewide Dental Services' goals. You will also provide clinical leadership, guiding and supporting less experienced practitioners in treating complex cases.

As a Senior Practitioner, you will work closely with the Chief Dental Officer and Lead Clinicians to shape policies and clinical guidelines, enhancing overall service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level dental services to eligible clients with complex dental and oral health issues
  • Contribute to the implementation of clinical programs and objectives within your district
  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to less experienced practitioners
  • Work closely with the Chief Dental Officer and Lead Clinicians to shape policies and clinical guidelines
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Dental Board of Australia as a dental therapist/oral health therapist
  • Hold a current Radiation licence with the EPA (SA)
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Leadership and guidance abilities in clinical dental services
  • Experience in delivering complex dental care within Scope of Practice
