Job Title: Care Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a Care Assistant to provide essential support services to older individuals living in their homes. Your key responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and some light household tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care and assistance to clients in their private residences
  • Ensure clients receive a tailored response in accordance with their individual support plans
  • Maintain client dignity and confidentiality at all times

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent qualification
  • Able to work flexible hours, including afternoons and evenings
  • Clear police check and working with children check (arranged and paid by employer)
  • Reliable vehicle and valid Victorian driver's license

Benefits:

  • Above award rate of pay ($42.18 per hour plus 12% Superannuation)
  • Paid induction and ongoing training provided
  • Uniforms, handheld device, and equipment supplied
  • Minimal travel between clients with paid time and kilometre reimbursement
