**Job Opportunity for a Skilled Mechanic:**
We are seeking a highly skilled mechanical professional to contribute to the success of our operation. This role involves providing quality and timely preventative maintenance and repairs for plant equipment to ensure optimum performance and availability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting, and timely repair of plant equipment to minimize downtime within the production team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance through regular inspections, servicing, and repairs of plant equipment;
- Support the efficient operation of the production facilities by providing reliable assistance with practical application to minimize downtime;
- Report all safety hazards, incidents, damage, breakdowns, and potential equipment stoppages across all areas;
- Maintain a working knowledge of all task instructions and procedures;
- Demonstrate excellent housekeeping standards;
- Complete all administrative processing requirements associated with maintenance duties.
Requirements:
- Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Qualification;
- Valid C-Class Drivers Licence as a minimum;
- Basic computer skills;
- SAP knowledge an advantage;
- Solid experience in mechanical maintenance of fixed plant infrastructure in a gold production environment;
- Solid interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills;
- Demonstrated high-level safety standards and work behaviors.
