Job Description

We are seeking an experienced team leader to manage the Sendaways & Logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and timeliness of all aspects of Sendaway & Logistics processes, including supervising and coordinating the workflow and activities of pathology tests.

This role requires a strong understanding of sendaway processes and customer service skills, as well as a general knowledge of pathology. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively with other teams to achieve business objectives.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. They will also have a proven track record of leadership and management, with experience in supervising and motivating a team.

A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate records and reporting on performance metrics. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Sendaways & Logistics team, ensuring high-quality delivery of services and meeting deadlines.
  • Supervise and coordinate the workflow and activities of pathology tests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records and report on performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting collaboration and teamwork.
Requirements

  • Proven leadership and management experience, preferably in a healthcare or laboratory setting.
  • Strong understanding of sendaway processes and customer service skills.
  • General knowledge of pathology, with the ability to understand and interpret test results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
