Clinical Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our supportive nursing team on our oncology ward. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting both patients and staff to ensure exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level professional nursing practice, adhering to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, and Healthscope's policies and processes.
- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of excellent standard of evidence-based, person-centered patient care.
- Foster learning within the unit by demonstrating and sharing high-level Oncology and palliative care nursing skills with colleagues, peers, ENs, graduates, and students.
- Maintain your own professional learning and continuous professional development.
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the healthcare continuum.
- Maintain professional and constructive working relationships with our VMO partners, using a customer service mindset, to enable high-quality patient outcomes.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum of 2-5 years' experience in Oncology Nursing.
- Postgraduate study completed or working towards.
- Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards.
- Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
