The CFO Advisory team provides exceptional client services to a range of industries across small-medium businesses, acting as their CFO advisors and implementing processes to improve their financial success and efficacy.

This is an incredibly unique opportunity to work in a commercial role, across a diverse range of clients, keeping the work interesting and dynamic but also setting you up to work as a highly-experienced CFO.

About the Role:

As a CFO Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and reviewing statements monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Providing insightful analysis for clients.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensuring financial activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strategic Financial Advice: Providing strategic financial advice to clients on-site (SMEs).
  • Financial Analysis: Conducting in-depth financial analysis (including cashflow, profitability, and cost management) to identify trends and opportunities.
  • System Implementation: Assisting in system implementation and improving financial systems.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Other ad-hoc duties depending on the exact client needs.
Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • CPA/CA is a bonus (not required).
  • At least 3+ years' experience in accounting (public practice and/or commercial business).
  • Experience with client advisory work (tax or finance).
  • Experience in a commercial role (e.g., financial accountant or management accountant) is a bonus.
  • Experience with systems such as Xero, MYOB and strong Excel skills.
