The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Services Officer to join our team at the Golden Grove operation in Western Australia. As part of our team, you will work on an 8:6 roster and be responsible for managing the Emergency Rescue Team (ERT) and coordinating emergency response, prevention, and preparedness onsite.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Providing 24/7 emergency response, leading medical, fire, and rescue efforts.
  • Ensuring emergency plans, equipment, and personnel are always ready.
  • Inspecting, auditing, and maintaining emergency equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
  • Training the ERT, ensuring compliance and an up-to-date roster.
  • Enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards, while assisting with risk assessments, investigations, and reporting.
  • Conducting workplace inspections, reviewing emergency plans, and liaising with external emergency services.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have strong experience in a similar position, such as underground mine rescue, emergency response, or the fire service. Other key skills, experience, and qualifications include:
  • A working knowledge of the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations and Act as they apply to emergency response.
  • Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (Surface and Underground) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Drug and Alcohol Testing qualification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • A Medium Rigid (MR) driver's licence.
