Electrical Fitter Submariner

As a Electrical Fitter Submariner with the Australian Defence Force, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the electrical systems of our submarines remain operational at all times.
The position involves operating, diagnosing and maintaining electrical systems onboard submarines and ashore, including hydraulic systems, refrigeration systems and high voltage power generation.
You'll work in a team environment, conducting regular maintenance to ensure the electrical and mechanical systems onboard your submarine are mission capable.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating engineering systems
- Conducting routine maintenance checks
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical system faults
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities
In addition to these core responsibilities, you may be required to perform additional duties such as boat security, firefighting, flood repair, first aid, medical emergency team member, ammunitioning or ceremonial duties.
