Care Professional

This role requires a skilled Psychologist to deliver quality care to clients across various settings, including inpatient and outpatient facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with complex medical conditions, including diabetes.
The successful applicant will work closely with the Metabolic Psychologists and team to support individuals' readiness for bariatric surgery, conducting assessments, individual and group intervention programs as needed.
About the PositionThis is a permanent part-time day worker position, requiring 7.6 hours of work per fortnight. While specific hours may be negotiated with the selected applicant, this role offers flexibility and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care to clients across various age ranges, utilizing clinical skills and best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive services and achieve improved outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating assessments and interventions as necessary.
- Tertiary qualification/program approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Area of practice endorsement (e.g., Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology) where required.
This role offers a competitive salary range ($110,425 - $121,907 pro rata), plus employer contributions to superannuation. You'll also have access to salary packaging benefits, travel assistance, professional development opportunities, and more.
