We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead our Operational and Compliance Risk Management Framework within our Financial and Fund Services division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of risk management processes and controls, and providing expert advice on risk and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business operations and risk landscape, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide expert advice on risk and compliance matters, including regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
- Lead and coach team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing control improvements and analyzing data trends to provide insightful advice.
- Manage data quality and maintain various databases, providing senior business leaders with actionable insights.
- Identify and complete project risk assessments end-to-end, ensuring that all risks are properly assessed and mitigated.
- 5-10 years' experience in banking/financial services/other relevant experience, and/or minimum 4+ years' experience in Operational Risk management roles.
- Strong understanding of Operational and Compliance Risk frameworks, with the ability to think critically and analytically and use data-driven insights to solve problems.
- Excellent influencing and consulting skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong people leadership skills, including expectation setting, coaching, and performance management.
- Hands-on experience with GS007 and the ability to build and develop the risk control and framework from scratch is highly desirable.
