About the Role

Rio Tinto is seeking a Senior Manager to join our PACE Consulting team. As a key member of our internal management consulting team, you will work closely with senior leaders to identify, scope, and deliver consulting projects that create value for our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects that drive business improvement and deliver lasting value
  • Work with senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and achieve business objectives
  • Develop and lead a team of consultants to deliver high-quality results
  • Recruit, coach, and develop team members to achieve their full potential
Requirements
  • Substantial experience leading projects in a top-tier consulting firm or complex, company-wide projects within a corporate environment
  • Extensive experience in leading and coaching teams to unleash their potential
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting analysis, ensuring accurate and updated data from varying sources, and interpreting complex results to find key opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise critical thinking and challenge pre-established concepts
  • Good understanding of business improvement principles and practices
  • Experience working and delivering outcomes within industry
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field. MBA would be seen as advantageous
