Technical Specialist for External Repairs

We are seeking a skilled Technical Specialist to provide effective technical analysis and review of external repairs for mobile mining fleet rotable components, planned offsite equipment rebuilds, and repairs.

The role will involve coordinating all external repairs to Asset Management Group (AMG) rotable components, identifying and implementing process improvements regarding the external repairs of AMG rotable components, developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, overseeing and reviewing planned offsite equipment rebuilds and repairs, and providing internal technical support regarding AMG equipment and components.

This is a newly created opportunity with regular site travel depending on business requirements. If you have strong technical skills and experience in coordinating and managing external repairs, this could be the perfect opportunity to grow with our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate all external repairs to AMG rotable components
  • Implement process improvements regarding the external repairs of AMG rotable components
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee and review planned offsite equipment rebuilds and repairs
  • Provide internal technical support regarding AMG equipment and components
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance of surface and ancillary mining equipment onsite, and coordination and management of repairs/rebuilds to rotable component and equipment
  • Managed small to medium-sized projects
  • Extensive knowledge of mining equipment
  • Mechanical Trade Qualification or similar
