Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at our Glenorchy Aged Care Facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and effective nursing care to our residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments to identify residents' needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor residents' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team
  • Provide wound care and management, including dressing changes and wound cleaning
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that promote residents' independence and quality of life

Requirements

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Desire to provide exceptional care to residents and contribute to a positive work environment
