Job Opportunity: Consultant Psychiatrist - VMO

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team as a VMO (Visiting Medical Officer) in New South Wales. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric assessments and treatment plans for patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of patient care plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines

Requirements:

• FRANZCP or equivalent qualification
• Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• Experience in general adult psychiatry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
