Job Description

Our Financial Control team in Sydney is seeking a highly skilled Finance Graduate to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to develop expertise in key finance functions, including financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision-making.

As a Finance Grad at Symbio, you'll gain valuable experience and build a strong foundation for a successful career in finance. You'll work closely with experienced professionals who will help you apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Gain experience across all areas of finance, including financial accounting, financial reporting, compliance and audits, financial asset management, financial planning, and data analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with team members from various business units to support shared financial goals and initiatives.
  • Develop expertise in financial processes and procedures.
  • Conduct financial research and investigation.
  • Assist in finance projects.
  • Participate actively in the graduate program.
  • Complete all graduate deliverables.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Finance or Accounting or a related field.
  • Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in finance and business.
  • Interest in technology and/or communications and a passion for innovation.
  • Previous work experience or internship in finance, accounting, or analytics is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Power Pivot is desirable.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
