About the Role
This is an incredible opportunity to work as a full-time, permanent Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Central Queensland's largest hospital. Our multidisciplinary team delivers high-quality patient care and treatment plans, participating in peer review and quality improvement initiatives.
The department sees a wide range of complex multi-specialty cases, making it an ideal location for professionals who enjoy variety and challenges in their work.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care and develop effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with colleagues on peer review and quality improvement projects
- Contribute to clinical guidelines and policies development

Eligibility Criteria:
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA as a FACEM (ED Consultant)
- IMGs eligible via the Competent Authority Pathway (training in the UK, USA, NZ, Canada, or Ireland)
- SIMGs assessed by ACEM College as Substantially comparable will be considered
- Doctors awarded fellowship (FACEM) in the next 6 months are encouraged to apply
