Job Title: Escrow Officer

This is an in-office role that involves handling real estate transactions.

About the Role:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage escrow accounts and ensure all funds are properly accounted for and disbursed in accordance with the terms of the contract.
  • The successful candidate will act as a neutral liaison between file parties, adhere to company policy, and mitigate risk to the organization.
  • Responsibilities include preparing regular reports on the status of the escrow account and providing these reports to the parties involved in the transaction.
  • Additionally, the candidate will examine property titles, mortgages, and trust deed documents, and prepare legal documents for the closure of the sale.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in escrow-related activities.
  • Direct experience handling escrow transactions is required.
  • Candidates should be open to new technology and proprietary programs, and able to adjust easily to new workflows.
  • A passion for customer service and a professional attitude are essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with internal teams and external customers.
  • Problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
  • The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment and be comfortable guiding and supporting future talent learning the business.
  • Familiarity with MS Office suite and ability to quickly adapt to new software applications are also required.
  • Candidates must possess valid licensing/certification as required by applicable state law.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum educational requirement.
