Job Overview:

Coordinator Arts and Culture Role

We are seeking an experienced arts and culture professional to lead the Singleton Arts & Cultural Centre as our next Coordinator Arts & Culture. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality exhibitions, inclusive public programs, and community engagement initiatives that contribute to Singleton's cultural identity and creative economy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging exhibitions, events, and public programs that inspire our community and draw new audiences
  • Lead a creative, high-performing team focused on access, inclusion, and impact
  • Build meaningful partnerships with artists, organisations, and funding bodies
  • Manage operational resources, budgets, and funding applications to support sustainable service delivery
  • Promote the Arts & Cultural Centre as a vibrant cultural destination and enhance its visibility in the region
  • Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders and the Singleton Arts & Cultural Advisory Group
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in visual arts, arts management, cultural policy, or museum/gallery practice
  • Proven experience delivering exhibitions and public programs in a public gallery or similar institution
  • Strong people leadership, project management and budgeting skills
  • A track record of growing diverse audiences and engaging community through arts initiatives
  • Experience securing and managing grants and external funding
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Benefits:
  • Permanent, full-time role working 35 hours per week
  • Base salary range: $112,708 - $126,782 per annum plus superannuation
