Pathology Specimen Collector

We are seeking a skilled Specimen Collector to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and providing high-quality healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:- Collecting patient specimens with care and attention to detail, ensuring accurate results and minimizing potential errors.
- Filling available shifts across various geographical areas, adapting to changing circumstances and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
- Maintaining meticulous records for every patient and specimen, adhering to strict guidelines and turnaround times.
- Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and protocols.
- Liaising with a range of stakeholders, including customers, clinic staff, and couriers, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a related field, preferably with a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy and understanding of patients' needs.
- Organized and efficient, with strong time management and attention to detail, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics, accommodating varying work schedules and assignments.
- Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one, and Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or a valid visa with permission to work.
