Modelling Energy Leader

The Role:

  • Lead energy market modelling in Australia, collaborating with senior consultants on forecast models, analytics and research, training, subscriptions, and consultancy projects.
  • Support new and existing modelling and consulting projects, ensuring delivery of high quality, on time projects.
  • Identify new opportunities, upsell products and services, and develop new products in the Australian Energy Market NEM or WEM.
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of experience in advanced mathematical modelling and strong analytical, research and model development skills.
  • At least two years of consultancy experience and exposure in the Australian Energy Market NEM or WEM.
  • Advanced data analytics experience including SQL, Python, C#, VBA, R.

Key Skills:

  • Experience running large market dispatch models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
