Job Description

This role involves working closely with the Product and Architecture teams to refine technical requirements, design and implement deployable solutions, and provide accompanying documentation to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test new features; maintain continuous integration workflows.
  • Optimize code for performance and troubleshoot issues in a Linux environment.
  • Collaborate with team members on pull requests, code reviews, and pair programming initiatives.
  • Provide clear documentation for users and commissioning teams.
  • Consult with stakeholders and support operational goals as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Proficiency with cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (HTTP, SDP, RTP) and broadcast standards (NMOS, ST2022, ST2110).
  • Familiarity with database design, data modeling, and microservice architectures.
  • Experience designing and integrating APIs for diverse systems, including REST, gRPC, protocol buffers, WebSocket, and other protocol-based communications.
  • Familiarity with Wireshark and writing custom dissectors in Lua.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, NATS).
