We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst and Visualisation Developer to join our dynamic team in Western Australia.

About the Role:

The role of Data Analyst involves conducting research, analysis, extraction and reporting of data for internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include undertaking research and analysis to assist with the development and management of policies, business issues and strategic projects.

Additional duties of the role include developing business intelligence report specifications under guidance and contributing to the day-to-day storage, administration, management, maintenance and integrity of data through following appropriate quality controls and documented governance processes and standards.

The Visualisation Developer will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of insightful reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders, providing advice on reporting strategies and directions to support evidence-based decision-making across government.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy development and business decisions
  • Develop business intelligence reports and specifications
  • Manage and maintain data integrity and quality
  • Design and develop visualisations and reports to support stakeholder needs
Requirements:
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. data science, analytics, computer science)
  • Proven experience in data analysis and visualisation
  • Strong understanding of data governance and quality principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
