About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and creative Leisure and Lifestyle Officer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will be based at our residential aged care facility in Wallsend.

As a Leisure and Lifestyle Officer, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging leisure and lifestyle programs that promote the wellbeing of our residents. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure that these programs meet the unique needs and preferences of each resident.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or a related discipline, or be near completion
  • A current National Police Check
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in the aged or health sector
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Well-developed computer skills
