Teaching Opportunity in Special Education

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to work with pupils with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will be able to create a safe and supportive learning environment, promoting academic progress and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons within the national curriculum, catering to the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
  • Support the teaching team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
  • Report on pupils' progress and concerns, liaising with other staff to ensure their needs are met.
  • Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and drive interaction and positive learning outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong educational background
  • Previous successful teaching experience
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting
  • Behaviour management techniques
  • Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check prior to commencing work
