Job Overview

The key to our success lies in the content we produce.

As a Strategic Roadmap Owner, you will work with stakeholders across content production areas, as well as technology and business stakeholders, to define and deliver strategic roadmaps for resource planning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and deliver strategic roadmaps for the system, based on clear commercial rationale and robust analysis, aligning it to overall strategy for content production departments.
  • Drive delivery on roadmap projects, working alongside business leads within Production Operations teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Technology support & development team to optimise existing capabilities as well as creating new ones.
  • Work closely with Technology support & development team to ensure best solution is designed to meet objectives of the business, as well as delivering system enhancements, administration, and regular system upkeep.
  • Support users' understanding of key developments, UAT, and key product milestones.
  • Provide thought leadership to business stakeholders based on data trends, product landscape change, and industry best practice, to ensure you are continuously assessing tool for its suitability and performance.
  • Lead/facilitate/support commercial decision making with regards to contracts for the resource planning system, working closely with procurement and legal teams, providing relevant analysis and input where required.

  • Stakeholder management: A proven track record of establishing and maintaining excellent business relationships with stakeholders. The ability to lead, influence, and engage with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation.
  • People-facing: The ability and desire to engage with users and stakeholders to deliver best outcomes for the business.
  • Experience: Evidence of working as a product lead or equivalent role, ideally with Salesforce platform.
  • Excellent commercial skills: Able to produce and articulate realistic and deliverable product roadmaps that deliver business value and align to business objectives.
  • Working in a dynamic environment: Enjoy task-focused delivery, a fast pace of work, and overcoming challenges. Strong multi-tasking abilities, flexibility, and patience in a fluid environment.
