Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the quality assurance and service reviews of security documentation, implementing systems, preparing reports, assisting in managing cyber risk, and managing relationships with key stakeholders.

This is a hybrid work environment that allows for a great work-life balance. Our office is located close to shops, cafés, and public transport. We offer long-term hourly rate contracts and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and review security requirements, design, and testing documentation, technical specifications, and other documentation related to ICT systems.
  • Prepare system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends, and evaluating identified issues to implement system enhancements.
  • Recognize the broader threat environment and effectively manage changes to the operating environment by using acquired knowledge to implement actions that strengthen the department's cyber security posture while adhering to compliance requirements.
  • Assist with the planned migration of services to the cloud by managing cyber risk to support the delivery of secure systems and services for the department.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cyber Security Advisor or Consultant.
  • The ability to conduct security and quality assurance reviews of documentation, projects, and external deliverables.
  • Sound knowledge of preparing system security reports through collecting and analyzing data, and identifying issues to resolve enhancements.
