Counseling Specialist

The role of this position requires a skilled professional to work with children, young people, and families who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect. Working within a neurosequential model of therapy, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients referred by Child Protection.

Your key responsibilities include assessment and advice relating to the care of clients, therapeutic interventions, and psychoeducation to stakeholders. You will collaborate with clients, their families, and care teams to create meaningful experiences and achieve better outcomes for lives.

This role demands a flexible and creative approach to clinical practice as you will be working with diverse clients and situations. You will need to demonstrate proven skills in assessment, treatment, and report writing, as well as commitment to ongoing professional development.
