Early Childhood Education Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Early Childhood Education Leader to join our team. As an Early Childhood Education Leader, you will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging play-based learning activities for children aged 6 months to 5 years old.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities, including art, music, movement, and outdoor play.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity.
  • Monitor and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements.
  • Maintain a clean and organised room, including managing materials and supplies.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education and care (or equivalent).
  • Understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Proven sector experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid certificate.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
