Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Trainee Opportunity

Mater Mothers Hospital is seeking an accomplished and enthusiastic Registrar (or experienced non-training registrar) to join its team as a Core trainee for 6 months commencing in February 2025.
The successful applicant will be rotating through various aspects of tertiary-level antenatal and intrapartum care, as well as training in Queensland's busiest general gynaecology unit. This role offers exposure to comprehensive general gynaecology and specialized areas of practice including colposcopy, gynaecology oncology, and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
As part of the Mater Flying O&G Service, the candidate will have the opportunity to participate in week-long gynaecology-focussed rotations delivering care to rural and regional Queensland. The Mater has a world-leading on-site education and simulation service, providing ample opportunities for training requirements to be completed.
The Mater prioritizes your training and education, with 6 hours of rostered education time weekly. You will be actively involved in innovative healthcare delivery models, audit, and research programs.
