Food Service Officer (Relief)

The role of a Food Service Officer is vital in providing patients with nutritious meals and exceptional service.

As part of a dedicated team, you will work collaboratively to ensure the safe food preparation and handling, outstanding service with a strong focus on hygiene, efficiency, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of food preparation, production, service, meal distribution, ware-washing, and cleaning of hospital service areas.
  • Contribute actively to quality and safety processes, including safety systems, improvement initiatives, and safeguarding practices for vulnerable people.
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, floors, and walls as directed by relevant supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in food preparation and production.
  • Understanding of general food handling and food hygiene regulations.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to understand written and verbal instructions and cooperate effectively with patients, visitors, and staff.
