Electrical Controls Specialist

About the Role
New opportunity available for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a specialist electrical and controls engineering company, providing design and support services to global clients.
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work across multiple PLCs across various industries, including mining, water, industrial and renewables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement control systems based on project requirements.
- Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth integration of control systems within the overarching project framework.
- Conduct testing, diagnose issues, and debug systems to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
- Conduct regular maintenance and updates to control systems when required.
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
- Stay informed of industry developments and trends to suggest innovative solutions.
- Be willing to travel to sites as needed on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience with multiple PLC programs, such as Rockwell, Siemens, etc.
- Experience with SCADA systems, including design and implementation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
