About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our award-winning team. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, working closely with the Executive Chef to develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a high-performing kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Develop and maintain menus that reflect the latest culinary trends and seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A trade qualification or equivalent in commercial cookery (Cert III in Commercial Cookery).
- Fine dining experience, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Knowledge of French cuisine and modern Australian cooking techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and quality in a fast-paced environment.
