Training Instructor Opportunity

Join our team of highly skilled professionals in a dynamic and challenging role as a State Training Instructor.

The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking experienced trainers to provide training services to custodial officers across the correctional system.

As a State Training Instructor, you will be responsible for coordinating, developing and delivering training programs that meet the needs of our clients.

Some of your key duties will include:

  • Designing and delivering training courses to both Correctional Services personnel and relevant private organisations
  • Conducting needs assessments to identify training requirements and develop training plans
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices in training delivery
  • Ability to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of diverse learner groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
