Opportunity for a Remote Dental Therapist

Job Overview:
  • The Northern Territory Locum Program is dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in remote communities across the region.
  • You will provide dental treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities, working collaboratively with local health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide comprehensive dental care to patients in remote clinics.
  2. Cultivate strong relationships with local health professionals and community members.
  3. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Current Oral Health Scheduled Substance Treatment Protocol (SSTP) certificate within the past two years.
  • Current NT Radiation License or application for NT Radiation License.
  • Minimum of two years post-graduate clinical experience as a dental therapist.
  • Minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months.
  • Current BLS / CPR Certificate.
