The Opportunity

You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative team focused on modernizing user interfaces and enhancing developer experience. Our product has a significant impact, touching tens of thousands of businesses across Australia.

This role offers the chance to work across multiple squads, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to shaping best practices for frontend development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Hands-on coding in React & Angular, building scalable features
  • Leading frontend architectural decisions and design patterns
  • Championing design systems and tooling (e.g., Storybook)
  • Collaborating with designers and backend engineers across squads
  • Setting standards for secure, maintainable, testable frontend code
  • Mentoring mid-level engineers and contributing to team-wide knowledge sharing
  • Driving improvements in observability, performance, and developer experience

What We Require

  • Strong expertise in React & Angular – ideally commercial experience in both
  • Deep understanding of web application architecture and security (XSS, CSRF, CORS etc)
  • Experience working with or maintaining component libraries/design systems
  • Strong communication and a collaborative, mentoring mindset
  • Proactive approach to code quality, scalability, and tooling
  • Bonus if you have worked in product-led or SaaS environments at scale
