About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drill Fitter to join our team at Marble, a leading drilling specialist in the underground services industry. As a Drill Fitter, you will be responsible for providing essential support on Sandvik Rhino drills and Epiroc Raise bore Drills, working across various projects in the Kalgoorlie region and site workshop environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and part fitting on heavy-duty drilling equipment
  • Addressing breakdowns, performing fault-finding and diagnostic work, and delivering technical support to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Working in a small team of 3, including a Drill fitter, supervisor, and an operator, to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and clients to ensure successful project outcomes
Requirements
  • A heavy vehicle/diesel fitting trade qualification and relevant industry experience
  • Experience with Sandvik systems and underground mining equipment
  • Adaptability to various conditions and environments, including remote locations and challenging weather conditions
  • A valid Australian manual Driver's Licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Check within 3-6 months
  • Strong capability to work independently as well as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • A competitive salary range of $170,000 - $190,000 + super, with flights included from Perth
