Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

WT Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Gold Coast office. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in supporting key projects in multiple sectors, including aviation, health, and high-rise residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify and facilitate new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
• Develop and manage project budgets, including cost checking and value engineering.
• Conduct tender evaluations and analysis to ensure optimal project outcomes.
• Negotiate contracts and manage cash flow projects to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Procure materials and services to support project delivery.
• Prepare and present cost reports to stakeholders.
• Evaluate variations and valuations to ensure accurate project costing.
• Prepare and negotiate claims to ensure fair and timely resolution.
• Analyze investment opportunities to drive business growth.
• Develop and implement benchmarking processes to improve project delivery efficiency.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Full Australian working rights and current location in Australia.
• RICS/AIQS accreditation highly regarded.
• Proficient in the use of Cost X.
• Ability to produce top-down and bottom-up cost plans.
• Thorough understanding of the total project life cycle.
• Highly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clients.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team and control multiple projects/client commissions.
