This administration position offers a unique opportunity to support the delivery of justice services in metropolitan and regional courts.
As a Magistrates' Court Administrator, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative tasks, including in-court duties, client-contact enquiries, and back-of-office responsibilities. You will also liaise with various stakeholders, including the judiciary, Victoria Police, and legal practitioners.
The role requires a high level of organizational skill, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to court staff
- Manage client-contact enquiries and respond to queries
- Perform back-of-office duties, including data entry and record-keeping
- Liaise with stakeholders, including the judiciary, police, and legal practitioners
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Government (Court Services) or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective team player
- Commitment to delivering quality services
- Leadership qualities and willingness to develop team leadership experience
