About the Role

The Presbyterian Ladies' College Melbourne is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Boarding House team as a Boarding House Supervisor. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in supporting the care and wellbeing of teenagers to make a positive impact on their lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the care and wellbeing of boarders in a residential environment
  • Work collaboratively with the Boarding House team to plan and execute activities and processes to enrich the boarders' day-to-day life
  • Administer pastoral care and build trusting relationships with boarders
  • Monitor the progress of boarders from an academic, social, and emotional perspective

Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting teenagers in a residential environment or in an education, welfare, or health setting
  • Well-developed skills to relate positively with young people, including administering pastoral care and building trusting relationships
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to respect confidentiality and privacy
  • A current Working with Child Check (employee) is essential
