Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Communications and Strategy Lead to join our team.

The successful candidate will shape how we communicate with the community and key stakeholders, leading the creation and delivery of communication strategies that align with our priorities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing Communication Strategies: Leading the development and implementation of effective communication plans.
  • Collaborating with Teams: Working closely with internal teams and our Communications unit to achieve common goals.
  • Preparing the Mayor: Preparing the Mayor for public appearances and Council events.
  • Providing Strategic Advice: Providing strategic guidance and ensuring clear, timely communication.

Requirements:

  • A strong foundation in communications, marketing, or public relations, backed by a relevant degree and significant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages, build relationships, and influence stakeholders.
