We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC) maintenance, repairs, and installation tasks within commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance, repairs and installation of various air conditioning/ refrigeration (HVAC) systems
  • Assist in training, providing direction and/or supervision of apprentices or other workers as required, with safety considerations as the highest priority
  • Training as necessary to progress within the trade, hold appropriate qualifications & understand safe methods of work, quality of service and environmental responsibility
  • Undertake quotations for repair works, within set guidelines, skills and competency and within specific authorisation levels. Refrain from giving advice or recommendations outside of job scope
  • Assist with operational requirements of jobs or projects as required
  • Participate on the on-call roster, and on occasion provide ad-hoc support

Requirements:

A commitment to outstanding and uncompromising safety standards, service excellence and environmental stewardship, adherence to requirements, policies, procedures and work instructions is essential.

Able to physically and safely undertake the inherent requirements of the position, including manual handling, working in heat, work at heights.

Hold and maintain all necessary trade or training licenses and driver's license, current Rescue and Resuscitation certification, EWP, White Card & Working at Heights.

Sound knowledge of control systems and hydronic systems, together with the ability to read schematic drawings and understand control strategies.
