In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the Lindsay Australia Safety and Compliance Audit Plan, reporting directly to the Head of Safety, Risk & Compliance. You will lead engagement with external auditors, uphold accreditation standards, and strengthen customer audit programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough safety and compliance audits across our rural, transport, and logistics operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and accreditation requirements, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement system improvements based on audit findings, ensuring seamless communication to achieve our safety goals.
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching to leaders and teams on safety and compliance matters, promoting a positive safety culture throughout the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in safety and compliance, informing our risk management strategies and maintaining our position as a leader in the sector.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will need solid experience working with safety obligations and understanding of accreditation requirements across WHS, Food Safety, Transport, and ISO accreditations. Proven expertise in safety audits, compliance checks, and health and safety risk management practices within the transport and/or agricultural industries is essential. Excellent communication and report-writing skills are also crucial, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build positive relationships with key stakeholders.
