We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Specialist to join our team in Horningsea Park. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and have strong communication skills.
About the Role:
This Steel Picker position involves walking throughout the warehouse to complete various tasks, adhering to safety procedures and being aware of potential hazards. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading picking dockets accurately to fulfill orders and communicating effectively with crane operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Walk throughout the warehouse to complete various tasks
- Adhere to safety procedures and be aware of potential hazards
- Read picking dockets accurately to fulfill orders
- Communicate effectively with crane operators
- Perform manual work, such as lifting and moving packages
- Complete basic computer work, such as inputting and tracking inventory
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, reliable attendance and punctuality, willingness to learn and follow safety procedures, and the ability to pass a pre-medical exam which includes drug testing.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $30.00-$36.00 per hour
- Night shift hours: Monday-Friday 10pm-6am (Training hours: 6.30pm-3.00am for 1-2 months)
- Able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods of time
Other Information:
This is an evening shift position, with hours from Monday to Friday. A drivers' licence is preferred but not required. Work location is on-site in Horningsea Park.
