Medical Officer Position

We are seeking a skilled Medical Officer to join our General Practice in the rural town of Coolamon.

The practice is located in a modern, purpose-built medical centre and offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services, including antenatal shared care, aged care, immunisation, and preventative healthcare. Our doctors have an interest in skin medicine and we have Mole Scan equipment on site.

Our team includes a dedicated Practice Nurse, reception staff, and an experienced Practice Manager. We also have a co-located dental practice and offer visiting Allied Health services, including physiotherapy, podiatry, diabetes education, dietetics, speech pathology, Well Women's Health Nursing, early childhood nursing, and mental health nursing.

Coolamon is a vibrant rural community with excellent sporting and cultural facilities. The main street offers many specialty shops and cafes, and we have a convenient bus service connecting us to nearby cities and towns.

Our mission is to provide high-quality patient care, incorporating a holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness. We promote wellness and disease prevention for all patients and strive to treat everyone with respect and dignity.
